Angus Room

Inspired by founding member Mr. Richard B. Angus, who was named “Canada First Citizen” by Sir John Abbott, Prime Minister of Canada. He was a financier and a director of the C.P.R. As President of the Bank of Montreal, he helped build the Royal Victoria Hospital and was a founder of the Mount Royal Club.

The Angus room, also named “Moose room” because of its moose head, is definitely the most prestigious private room of The Forest & Stream Club. The very famous Angus room is well used during the cold season with its fireplace that keeps members and their guests warm. The maximum capacity of that room is 12 people around a round table.
